Hot Toys started with creating military figures in the beginning before moving towards the licenses and figures we are all familiar with now. They have their Movie Masterpiece series, or MMS for short. They also have their video game series, dioramas, Quarter Scale figures, Cosbabys, and more. From Superheroes to Star Wars, if it is even remotely popular you can bet that there will be a high end collectible of some sort created.

Howard Chan began with extremely humble roots, focusing on creating accurate military based figures. However, within a few years a shift to figures based of licensed media began. From then on, the company has paved the way for high-end one sixth scale figures. With over 400 figures in their Movie Masterpiece series alone, it should be no surprise that you cannot have a conversation about one sixth scale figures without mentioning their products.

They also have physical stores now in Asia. Their ‘Secret Base’ store is a functioning store where collectors can go to preorder and buy collectibles in Hong Kong. For others in other territories, you will have to find a distributor for your collectible needs. Sideshow Collectibles is an official distributor of their products in America, allowing preorders and payment plans of their items for western customers. Otherwise you can find local comic or collectible stores that may be distributors as well.

With all of their announcements and new products, One Sixth Society hopes to have all of the relevant Hot Toys information in one convenient place for you to read. Not only new announcements either, but articles about teased products like the Batman VS. Superman Batmobile. We even show our guests the first ever Hot Toys figure released so they can visually see where the company started out.

It is hard to imagine what the one sixth collectible community would be like without them.
