With an increase in not only the number of collectible figure companies, but also the mainstream appeal and appreciation of ‘nerd culture’ there has never been a better time to be an action figure collector. Literally new figures, statues, and more are announced every day, and the information can be difficult to keep track of. If there is a new figure coming soon to the market, One Sixth Society will be the first to let you know and keep you informed.

Our Goal is to Keep You Informed

Here on the One sixth Society site is where we will have all of our articles about new announcements from various one sixth scale companies. If Sideshow Collectibles, Hot Toys or NECA release a new figure, we will be the first to announce it to you. Some People may think that certain figures are up for preorder for a long time before they are released, that is not always the case. Just recently, the Hot Toys Suicide Squad Batman figure was announced and within a day of going up for pre-order, the figure was already sold out at Sideshow Collectibles! While that may be an extreme scenario, keeping track of figures that are coming soon is an important aspect of collecting. Other times, figures may have en update or delay that will change their release, and that knowledge is necessary for collectors as well.
