Our Hot Toys reviews and sixth scale figure reviews are written to help collectors see beyond promotional images. The reviews cover head sculpts, paint, outfits or armor, articulation, accessories and how the figure looks on display.
We look closely at sculpt accuracy, paint and materials, and explain how the joints and outfit work together. A tight suit can look excellent in a standing pose while making a crouch difficult.
Reviews also call out setup concerns, fragile parts, display-space requirements and the usefulness of the included stand. The strengths, weaknesses, photos and final thoughts help you decide whether the figure fits your collection.
Our Hot Toys RoboCop 2 review covers the armor, helmet-off portrait, movement and accessories. Pair it with the RoboCop 2 video for a closer look at the same figure.
Explore our Hot Toys Harley Quinn review, Terminator Genisys Endoskeleton review and Death Trooper Specialist Deluxe review. We also cover notable collectibles from other manufacturers, giving sixth scale and premium-format collectors a broader point of comparison.
For motion, scale and close-up views, pair the written coverage with our Hot Toys Videos. Browse Hot Toys Preorders before release, or use the Hot Toys page to find product details and related coverage.
Search for the character, then check the film, version and product code in the review. A new head sculpt or a revised body can change the experience even when two releases have the same name. The Deluxe label may describe extra accessories rather than a different figure.
Look at the photographs alongside the written findings. A close-up helps with the likeness and paint; the articulation and display sections explain limitations that a single picture may hide. Our Predator 2.0 Jungle Hunter photo review shows how those photographs support the written findings.
An older review cannot tell you how every used figure has aged. If buying secondhand, ask for recent photos of the actual item, including joints, fabric and any known problem areas.
Where a Review Score is shown, it is One Sixth Society’s assessment out of ten. Read the strengths and limits alongside the number: a figure with a great likeness may still have restricted movement, and an accessory that matters to one display may stay in the box in another. Use it as a quick summary, then read the details that matter most to your collection.
Prioritize the details that matter to your own display: character likeness, poseability, durability, footprint, included accessories and total cost. Your own display plans matter when choosing a figure. Availability and market prices also change, so review observations should be combined with current retailer information before buying.
Our Netflix Daredevil review assesses the finished crimson-and-black figure. For the newer black suit, see the TMS186 Daredevil preorder, which covers the announced specifications and accessories.
