Hero Club’s Bat Spotlight is a USB-powered accessory for sixth-scale Batman displays. Our written review liked the bright light and interchangeable Keaton and Affleck bat emblems, with the power cable as the main drawback.
Two Batman Emblems
The supplied emblems let the same spotlight suit a Michael Keaton or Ben Affleck Batman display. The ratcheted lamp held its position on the reviewed example.
The reviewer found the light impressive in a dark room and still bright with room lights on.
It Needs USB Power
The spotlight must remain connected to a powered USB port through its mini-USB cable. It cannot run on batteries, and plugging it in does not charge an internal battery.
That affects where an illuminated display can go. The lamp still works as a prop beside Batman with the light off, which the reviewer also enjoyed.
Which Batman Display Does It Suit?
The two included emblems offer Keaton- and Affleck-style choices. That makes this a different prop selection from the signal associated with Hot Toys’ John Blake and Jim Gordon Dark Knight set, which the original written review discusses for comparison. Choose the emblem around the Batman you actually display. The ratcheting lamp also changes its angle without changing the base position, useful when the signal sits behind a figure. Its USB lead still needs a route out of the display. Removing the cable is an option for an unlit arrangement, not a way to run it on an internal battery.
What to watch in the demonstration
Watch the emblem change and the angle adjustment separately. The emblem decides which bat design you see; moving the lamp changes where that design is aimed. Those are different features, and a single photograph of the light switched on will not demonstrate both.
If you are comparing a used example with the one in this video, check that the seller shows the interchangeable pieces as well as the working lamp. A successful lighting demonstration confirms that the light operated during that test, but it does not show whether every original accessory is still present.
