Chronicle Collectibles’ half-scale RoboCop bust impressed our reviewer with armor that shifts from blue-silver toward purple in the light. This video accompanies the written review of the 300-piece release.
Armor Paint and Portrait
The reflective armor finish was the standout feature. The glossy black visor and visible lower face also worked well, with the reviewer finding Peter Weller’s likeness in the exposed mouth and chin.
The circular stand carries the RoboCop logo and borrows shapes from the armor. Its design suits the bust rather than looking like a plain support.
The Edition Number
On the reviewed example, the edition number was printed on foam underneath the stand. The reviewer added felt risers to reduce rubbing against that surface. Those risers were a personal modification, not an included accessory.
The large art box uses film imagery and an OCP logo. The original review’s verdict was enthusiastic, especially about the paintwork.
Helmet, Face and Presentation
RoboCop leaves very little of Peter Weller’s face exposed, making the mouth and chin unusually important to the likeness. Watch those features as closely as the metallic helmet finish. The written review also describes the large OCP-themed art box and the armor-inspired base. They give this bust its own presentation without needing a full figure alongside it. The reviewer’s suggestion of risers was a preference about display height, not evidence that a set was missing from the box. The edition number recorded on the foam is another reason to keep the original packaging with this release.
