A Closer Look at BioRider

BioRider is Kotaro’s Prince of Anger form, with blue armor, red details and the R3 chest emblem. The narrow helmet and sword are a clear departure from the bulkier armor and gun of RoboRider.

Compared with the Revolcane included with Black RX, the Bio Blade has its own attack parts: a solid blade, a glowing blade and the curved sweep of the Spark Cutter.

BioRider first emerges when Kotaro is trapped and his anger awakens another response from the Kingstone. In the series, this form can turn liquid, letting him slip out of restraints and evade physical attacks. It is a very different answer to danger from simply adding thicker armor.

That background helps explain the sleeker design. The blue body and narrow helmet suggest a form built around movement, while the sword gives that movement a clear direction. A BioRider figure can look like part of the RX family without having the same broad silhouette as RoboRider.

The liquid transformation is a story ability, not a function of this collectible. The physical set represents the armored BioRider and his blade attacks. That distinction is useful when looking through the effects: they depict a moment in motion, while the figure itself remains the recognizable blue form.

Collectors concentrating on BLACK RX may want BioRider because of how different Kotaro’s response to a fight becomes in this form. Someone collecting one Rider from each series may instead prefer the regular RX suit. Both approaches make sense; BioRider is a specific transformation with its own appeal, not a required upgrade over the main character design.

What the Spark Cutter represents

The Spark Cutter is the Bio Blade charged with light energy for a finishing strike. Toei also describes the blade firing a beam from its tip, so BioRider's sword is not limited to ordinary close-range cuts in the story. The curved effect supplied with the figure captures one attack; it does not represent every ability the weapon has on screen.

BioRider's machine is Mach Jabber, the form Acrobatter takes for him. That pairing follows the same idea as the Rider: a change toward speed and fluid movement. Acrobatter and Mach Jabber are names for different appearances of the story's machine, not interchangeable names for the Hot Toys bike currently listed separately.

If you are identifying BioRider from a cropped picture, use the helmet, blue armor and chest marking together. A sword alone is not enough, because RX also carries a long weapon. The narrower outline and different face separate the two even when their accessories are outside the photograph.

BioRider: Release Details

Hot Toys BioRider is expected at US retailers in September–December 2026.

Buying from Hot Toys or Secret Base in Hong Kong usually means getting the figure around 6–8 weeks before US retailers. Overseas shipping accounts for that gap, but the timing varies by shipment.
