Separate the display appeal from the reported faults

Our written review measured the piece at roughly 16 inches tall, with a Scrander span of about 15 inches. It praised the vivid colors and size but reported loose forearm connections, a detached cutter blade and chipped face paint on the sample. Those are specific observations from the reviewed figure, not proof that every surviving example has identical damage.

The article also described a largely plastic construction, with die-cast material concentrated in the knee and arm joints. Collectors considering a used example should request close-ups of those forearm connections and the faceplate before judging it by its weight or the word “diecast” on the box.
