Raphael’s Movie Look and Accessories
The prize was NECA’s quarter-scale Raphael based on the 1990 live-action film. The red bandana, sneering portrait and twin sai distinguish him from the other brothers. Our original review describes the fabric bandana tails and the paint and shell markings, alongside the body construction shared with Donatello.
This release stands approximately 16.5 inches tall and includes interchangeable hands and a pizza slice. It does not include Donatello’s ooze canister. That omission was part of the review’s comparison of the original packages, rather than evidence that a Raphael owner has lost a supplied accessory.
If you are researching the figure through this archive, compare the scale and character inventory before using a loose set or another Turtle’s box as a reference. The sai are much shorter than Donatello’s staff, but their direction still changes the space a pose needs. The accompanying review photographs and video are the useful product resources here; the June 2017 competition is preserved only as a past event and accepts no further entries.
