The Hot Toys Wolverine VGM91 and VGM92 preorder brings Insomniac Games’ new Marvel’s Wolverine design to sixth scale in Standard and Deluxe editions. Both versions feature Logan’s yellow-and-black Battle Reborn suit, a muscular body with seamless silicone arms, interchangeable masked expressions and five distinctly styled pairs of claws. The decision comes down to the display: VGM91 includes a classic logo stand, while VGM92 adds an elaborate Omega Red battle diorama.

Battle Reborn Suit and Seamless Arms

Wolverine stands approximately 11.4 inches tall and has 30 points of articulation. The newly developed muscular body uses silicone arms over an internal metal skeleton, allowing the biceps and forearms to appear continuous without visible elbow joints. The official prototype photographs show the arms holding wide, bent and crossed-claw poses.

The Battle Reborn costume combines a weathered yellow-and-black suit with shoulder armor, black gauntlets, a utility belt and black boots. Scratches and worn surfaces give the outfit a used appearance suited to Logan’s combat-heavy game design. The cowl keeps the familiar pointed silhouette while using angular panels that match the armor.

Interchangeable Wolverine Expression Parts

The cowled head includes separate parts for changing Logan’s expression without replacing the complete sculpt. Two interchangeable eye plates, two lower-face pieces and two pairs of cowl wing flaps create calmer and more aggressive combinations. Battle damage on the alternate wing pieces can be matched with the more intense face for a later-fight display.

Six gloved hands are included: fists, relaxed hands and claw-holding hands. The hands support neutral museum poses as well as two-handed slashing stances, while the cowl options help keep the eyes and mouth consistent with the action.

Five Wolverine Claw Styles

The largest shared accessory feature is the selection of five interchangeable claw pairs. Polished Adamantium Claws provide the classic metal look. Scarlet Claws use a translucent red finish, Diamond Claws have a pale crystalline appearance, and the Charred Bone and Savage Bone sets introduce rougher organic textures. Collectors can change the character’s visual style without replacing the hands or costume.

Translucent slashing effects attach to the claws to show movement through the air. A small carved katana ornament is also included as a separate game-inspired accessory. Together, these pieces give both VGM91 and VGM92 substantially more display variation than a single fixed metal-claw set.

What Does the VGM92 Deluxe Version Add?

The VGM92 Deluxe Version adds a battle-themed diorama featuring an Omega Red bust emerging from rocky terrain. The sculpt includes red armor, mechanical facial details and eyes designed to reflect under ultraviolet light. Two long Carbonadium tentacles extend from the scene and contain bendable wire, so they can curve around Wolverine or sweep outward to widen the composition.

The diorama supports a close confrontation or an airborne Wolverine pose above Omega Red. It needs considerably more horizontal and vertical clearance than the Standard Version’s logo stand, especially when the tentacles are fully extended. The 22-photo gallery on this page uses only official Deluxe Version imagery so collectors can judge that larger display and its exclusive components clearly.

Price and Expected Release

As checked on September 11, 2026, Sideshow lists the Standard VGM91 at US$285 and the Deluxe VGM92 at US$375. Its estimated delivery period is July through December 2027, with the listing allowing for shipments through March 2028. Hot Toys gives both editions an estimated Q3 through Q4 2027 release window.
