Hot Toys’ sixth-scale Batman v Superman Batmobile was still awaiting an order announcement when this article was published in March 2017. With the Dawn of Justice Batman figure reaching collectors, we gathered the vehicle’s estimated dimensions, proposed features and the release comments available at the time.
The promotion suggested Hot Toys was still working toward a release, but it did not establish a preorder date.

After speaking to Hot Toys’ Ray Ling, who headed up the paint on the absolutely gorgeous Hot Toys Marvel Iron Man Mark XXII – Hot Rod Sixth Scale Figure, we now have some information about the highly anticipated release of the Batmobile! He provided the estimated dimensions of the vehicle: 43” (L) X 23” (W) X 13”(H) so it will not be a small piece by any means. Other features that have been reported as being possible for the collectible are Headlights & signal lights, Gatling guns with lights, Functional doors, an Interior light-up function as well as Battle & cruising mode.

When Will The Batmobile be Released?
While these specifics have not been confirmed nor denied, judging from Hot Toys’ 1/6 Scale DeLorean it is not unlikely that these features will be included. All of the speculation is fantastic, but without an order form these rumors are just that. Fortunately, Ray Ling had this to say when asked about the release date of the Batmobile; “We Are Still Waiting For The Right Time To Release The Batmobile, Justice League Is Coming Too Fast”. The statement did not provide a release date, but it suggested the project remained under consideration. When that is, no one can say for sure.
The price, final accessories and working features were still unconfirmed. Ray Ling’s comments showed that the project remained under discussion, without promising when collectors would be able to order it.
Vehicle Measurements Include More Than the Footprint
The proposed length and width describe a very large object even before a door opens. A display built around that estimate would also need room to reach the cockpit and operate any moving parts. Because the features were still proposed when this article appeared, those figures should not be treated as final installation measurements for a later release.
