What to look for in the video
Start with the packaging. The Famous Type lettering and Hot Toys branding are useful details when comparing early boxed examples. Then look at how the figure’s head sculpt, clothing and body work together. The sunglasses and silhouette communicate the character without the elaborate accessories and interchangeable parts associated with many later releases.
The footage also provides a useful comparison for collectors inspecting an older outfit. Pay attention to the surface of the synthetic leather and the figure’s rubber hands. The condition of the example on screen should not be assumed to match another figure offered for sale.
