Displaying Zoey

Stage and Demon-Hunting Poses

The singing face and microphone make an easy stage pose for Zoey. For a demon-hunting display, the Shin-kal blades can spread outward from her hands, with room left for their gold tassels.

Stage Stand and Backdrop

Zoey is approximately 10.8 inches tall before adding the stage stand. The lenticular backdrop belongs behind her; leave some space around the figure so its changing image remains visible.

A Closer Look at Zoey

Zoey’s “How It’s Done” outfit has the streetwear details that make her look different from the rest of HUNTR/X: loose patterned pants, chunky sneakers and double-bun hair. The rings, nail polish and diary are smaller touches that suit the group’s rapper.

For a group performance, Mira’s matching stage release has the same kind of microphone and backdrop setup. The individual weapons also let the pair become a demon-hunting display without changing the costumes.

Zoey is the youngest member of HUNTR/X, and her eagerness is part of what makes her so easy to like. Netflix’s character guide describes her as protective of her friends and anxious to prove she belongs. That gives the cheerful expression a purpose: it captures the person behind the rapper, rather than treating every demon hunter as permanently battle-ready.

For an animated character, likeness is about preserving the shapes that make the face recognizable. The eyes, cheek shape and smile matter more than adding realistic skin detail. Compare the two expressions with the film’s version of Zoey, especially if one of them will stay on the figure most of the time. A singing face needs to feel like the same character as the smiling one.

Her combination of energy and loyalty is also a good reason to keep a HUNTR/X group display focused on the performers themselves. Matching the mood of their expressions can do more for the group than giving every member the largest accessory available.

The lyricist behind the microphone

Zoey writes as well as raps. Her notebooks matter because she once worried that her thoughts and lyrics were useless; being part of HUNTR/X gives that work a home. The diary accessory is a welcome nod to this side of her, even when the figure is arranged away from the microphone and stage backdrop.

Two performers supply her English-language voice: Ji-young Yoo handles the speaking role and Rei Ami the singing. That division helps put the two expressions in context. Zoey is both the friend talking excitedly between performances and the rapper delivering her part onstage. Keeping the diary nearby can acknowledge the writing behind that confidence, rather than treating her only as another singer with a weapon.

Zoey: Release Details

Hot Toys Zoey is expected at US retailers in January–June 2027.

Buying from Hot Toys or Secret Base in Hong Kong usually means getting the figure around 6–8 weeks before US retailers. Overseas shipping accounts for that gap, but the timing varies by shipment.
