A Closer Look at Zeb Orrelios

The blue flight suit and white vest show where Zeb has ended up after Rebels: working with the New Republic. The Lasat face, striped limbs and familiar Bo-Rifle still connect him to the Ghost crew, even in the new uniform.

The fiber hair around the face and limbs adds texture to areas that would otherwise be entirely sculpted. Ezra Bridger’s Rebels figure recalls an earlier part of their story, while this Zeb brings that character history into The Mandalorian & Grogu.

Zeb's Bo-Rifle is more than a large weapon chosen to suit a large character. He served in the Lasan Honor Guard, and the AB-75 is tied to that background. For Rebels fans, keeping that connection matters: Zeb had a life and a responsibility before he joined the Ghost crew.

He is often the first person to throw a punch, but the series also gives him an education, a sense of honor and the loss of his people to carry. The combination is why he works so well alongside characters who are physically much smaller. Treating him as anonymous heavy muscle misses much of what makes Zeb worth collecting.

The flight suit places this figure later in his story. It gives collectors a New Republic appearance rather than a straight copy of his original Rebels outfit. Decide which period you want before buying companions for him. The same character can belong in more than one collection, but a later uniform and an earlier Ghost-crew costume tell different parts of that story.

The Bo-Rifle also carries Lasat history

Zeb's weapon has a role beyond fighting. In Rebels, he uses the Bo-Rifle during the ritual that guides the Ghost to Lira San, the ancient Lasat homeworld. Lucasfilm's Databank describes the weapon helping the crew pass through an anomaly. The object that looks like a heavy blaster is also connected to the survival and traditions of his people. Lasan and Lira San are different names in that history. Keeping them separate helps explain why finding the ancient homeworld matters to a survivor who believed his people had lost everything.

That makes it worth keeping visible even when Zeb is not posed to strike. The recognizable staff shape can identify his history without needing an action effect or another character in front of him. It gives a later New Republic uniform a direct connection to the Lasat who served with the Ghost crew.

The story also explains why the name Bo-Rifle is more useful than calling it a generic blaster. The weapon has both a staff identity and a ranged-weapon role. When comparing the supplied configurations, decide whether the scene is about close combat, aiming or simply carrying it. Each changes the space the weapon occupies and the way Zeb's hands relate to it.

For a Rebels fan buying this movie-era figure, that continuity may be the strongest attraction. The uniform has changed, but the familiar Lasat equipment keeps his earlier life present. A collection does not have to recreate one exact episode to acknowledge that history; it only needs to keep clear which version of Zeb the figure actually represents.
