Elle Fanning portrays Tomorrow in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, and this figure follows that game’s character design.

The dress leaves much of the shoulders, arms and legs visible, so exposed elbow and knee joints would be prominent in both a standing display and close photographs. The silicone exterior keeps those areas visually continuous while the internal structure provides articulation.

The announcement lists 28 points of articulation. The photos show bent knees, raised arms and turned shoulders, but they do not establish long-term durability in those positions. Start with the finished figure’s handling instructions when it arrives. A promotional pose shows an available look; it is not evidence of how the material behaves after months in one position. The construction is confirmed, while the production body’s long-term performance remains something collectors will have to assess after release.

A Portrait That Needs More Than a Straight-On Photo

Tomorrow’s long hair changes the outline of the head from one angle to the next. In the prototype close-ups, the waves sit around the shoulders and the parting leaves the face open. Look at both the front and three-quarter portraits when judging Elle Fanning’s likeness: a single image cannot show how the hair, cheek shape and eye direction work together.

The Artisan treatment uses implanted wool rather than a solid sculpted hairstyle. Separate rolling eyeballs give you control over the gaze as well. You can turn the head toward Sam, a camera or the direction of the extended hand without needing an exaggerated neck angle to communicate the pose. Keeping the eyes and the leading arm aimed toward the same point is a useful place to start with the spear setup.

Two Tar Displays in One Package

The diorama has interchangeable tar splash pieces for two distinct arrangements. One keeps the effect closer to the ground; the other builds an eruption around the figure’s legs. The comparison photo in the gallery is the clearest way to decide which silhouette you prefer. The lower setting leaves more of the feet and legs visible, while the raised version makes the black tar a larger part of the display.

The eruption setup also changes what you need to measure. Even with the figure itself in a fairly narrow stance, the pointed splash shapes spread outward. Leave space around them before adding another stand. This is a different planning problem from a simple rectangular base with a nameplate, because the visible edges of the effect matter as much as the platform underneath it.

Hot Toys identifies the tar spear as a concept-art-inspired accessory. That is a useful distinction for anyone comparing the figure with a specific scene or screenshot. Its glossy, uneven surface follows the same black tar treatment as the base, giving the weapon and scenery a consistent appearance. The announcement does not describe it as a light-up accessory.

For a more restrained display, the spear can run across the body at a shallow angle rather than reaching far above the head. For a stronger action silhouette, turn the torso and use the open hand to lead the pose. The dedicated spear hands are included for holding the weapon; the open tar-covered right hand gives you another option when you want her powers to be the main detail in the photograph.

The Sneakers Are More Than an Outfit Swap

The package includes white soft-vinyl sneakers with a small charm. Hot Toys connects them to Sam’s gift and Rainy’s charm, giving this accessory a character-specific reason to be here. The promotional photographs show Tomorrow both wearing the shoes and holding them while barefoot. Those are two noticeably different presentations using the same included outfit.

Bare feet and the lower tar arrangement make a simple standing display. Wearing the sneakers introduces another small detail at the bottom of the figure and suits the lifted-leg poses shown in the gallery. The dress, upper-arm wrap and crisscross forearm ribbons remain the same in either setup. There is no second full costume listed, so the footwear, hand selection and base arrangement do most of the work when changing her appearance.

Reading the Costume Details

The gathered neck, waist belt and layered white fabric keep the outfit from looking like a plain single-piece tunic. The upper-arm wrap is on the left, while both forearms receive the crossing ribbons. The rear view is worth checking alongside the front portrait because it shows how the open back and hair sit together.
