Hot Toys gives Superior Iron Man a metallic black electroplated finish with green LED lighting in the Infamous Neon Version. The diecast figure includes repulsor hands, liquid-metal forearm effects and an illuminated stand.

The Exclusive Edition comes with the items below.
The black armor and green lights work well in a slightly turned standing pose, where the chest and lit sides remain visible. The forearm effects need extra space if you spread both arms for a repulsor attack.
Leave access behind the armor for its USB-C connection and for the separate lit stand. The USB connecting cables are not included.
The liquid-metal armor is an unusual Iron Man design before the neon colors are added. The dark electroplated panels and green lighting take it even farther from Tony’s familiar red-and-gold suits. Removing the chest panel exposes the machinery underneath, giving collectors another way to show the armor.
Beside a film design such as the Mark XLIII, this version adds a very different finish to an armor collection. Hot Toys lists it as an exclusive run of 2,500 units in selected markets.
The name needs one distinction: this is Superior Iron Man in the Infamous Neon color treatment. Marvel’s Superior Iron Man comic follows Tony Stark after the events of AXIS. Infamous Iron Man is a separate series in which Victor von Doom takes on the Iron Man identity. The word Infamous in this figure’s subtitle does not make it a Doctor Doom figure.
Superior Iron Man began in 2014, with Tom Taylor writing and Yildiray Cinar drawing a Tony whose ambition had become dangerous. That background suits an armor design that feels removed from the friendly red-and-gold Avenger. Collectors following Tony’s comic history get a different chapter from the movie armors, while the black-and-green treatment makes this a particularly stylized interpretation of that chapter.
The finish is worth considering separately from the electronics. Electroplated black surfaces pick up the surrounding light, so the armor will look different against a bright background than against a dark one. The green LEDs then add another layer to the appearance. In an Iron Man collection, this gives the eye a break from repeated red and gold without changing the character being collected. It is a choice for someone interested in alternate armor finishes as well as the story behind the suit.
For the comic behind this armor, start with Superior Iron Man rather than an Avengers film. Tony takes his Extremis technology to San Francisco and offers people a way to change themselves. Daredevil challenges what he is doing. The conflict turns on Tony using an invention to control people's lives, which makes this a more unsettling version of Iron Man than a straightforward new battle suit.
That reading gives the exposed machinery and liquid-metal pieces some context: the technology belongs to a man who believes he knows what everybody needs. The Infamous Neon finish is Hot Toys' alternate color treatment, so use the comic for the character's story, rather than expecting its panels to show this exact black-and-green figure.
