Planning Your Display

Power, Drill and Rope Arm Poses

The Power Arm makes a compact fighting pose, with the red chest armor and exposed lower face easy to see. The Drill Arm works for a forward strike; the Rope Arm needs more space if you extend the hook, sickle or mace.

Scarf and Rope Clearance

The yellow scarf has a wire inside, so it can follow the direction of an attack. Leave a gap between the rope attachments and the soft suit when setting up a wider pose.

A Closer Look at Riderman

Joji Yuki’s exposed lower face gives Riderman a different look from the fully masked Riders. The two expressions matter here: there is more visible emotion beneath that helmet than on most of the team.

The handshake hands are a nice inclusion for anyone who already has the sixth-scale Kamen Rider V3. For a broader Showa Rider collection, Kamen Rider Amazon adds another distinctive helmet and a very different set of fighting gestures.

Joji begins as a scientist working for Destron, believing its promises about using science to improve the world. After he is betrayed and loses his right arm, the Cassette Arm becomes both a replacement limb and the equipment he uses to fight back. That history makes the attachments central to Riderman’s identity.

The drill and rope tools reflect an inventor finding different uses for the same arm. They are not separate superpowers handed to unrelated versions of the character. For a collector, changing that one side can tell a different part of Riderman’s story while leaving the exposed human face and familiar suit recognizable.

His face also makes sense in that context. There is a person visibly relying on machinery beneath the helmet, with determination or strain that can be shown through the mouth. That is a distinctive feature in a lineup where most Riders hide the whole face behind a fixed mask.

Riderman’s relationship with V3 develops out of a much less straightforward beginning than two heroes simply meeting as friends. The handshake option recalls the connection they eventually build. It gives the figure a quieter story to tell alongside the more obvious drill-arm action, without needing a second costume or an elaborate background.

Riderman's tools have different jobs

Toei describes the Rope Arm as useful for restraint and movement as well as attack. Riderman can catch a target or reach a high place with it, while the Drill Arm has a more direct cutting role. That makes the attachments tools for solving different problems, rather than decorations that all mean the same kind of punch.

It also gives collectors a reason to change the right arm while leaving the rest of the pose fairly restrained. The selected attachment can tell you what Riderman is attempting. Keep its working end visible and point his attention toward the same task. That is enough to make the inventor's approach readable without surrounding the figure with an elaborate battle scene.

Hot Toys Riderman is expected at US retailers in January–June 2027.

Buying from Hot Toys or Secret Base in Hong Kong usually means getting the figure around 6–8 weeks before US retailers. Overseas shipping accounts for that gap, but the timing varies by shipment.
