Wild Slash and Crouching Poses
The Wild Slash hand and red effect piece give Amazon his signature attack pose. A crouched stance with the claw hands also suits the character, with the wired white scarf swept back behind the helmet.
Rope and Scarf Clearance
The Condorer Rope needs room around the arms when extended. Check the fin cutters on the sleeves and boots before bringing the limbs close together, and leave access to the belt’s lighting connection.
A Closer Look at Kamen Rider Amazon
Amazon is one of the strangest-looking Showa Riders, and that is part of his appeal: red markings across green armor, a fin down his back and a mouth that can bare its teeth. The two mouth pieces make a noticeable difference between a calm pose and a fight.
Beside Riderman, the reptile-like helmet and clawed attacks add variety to a Showa collection. The friendship hands offer a quieter nod to the character between all those combat options.
This is the original Kamen Rider Amazon from the 1974 television series, not Amazon Alpha or Amazon Omega from the later Amazons series. The singular name matters when comparing releases. The green-and-red reptilian appearance belongs to Daisuke Yamamoto, a young man raised in the Amazon who comes to Japan to protect the GiGi Armlet.
His friendship with Masahiko is an important counterweight to the fierce appearance. Amazon is learning to live among people in an unfamiliar place, and the friendship gesture represents that connection. It is a particularly good option for a collector who wants the character’s kindness to be visible alongside the claws and teeth.
That contrast is what makes Amazon unusual in a classic Rider collection. The suit could easily be mistaken for a monster by someone unfamiliar with the show, yet the person inside it is protecting his friends. The mouth, fins and markings preserve the creature design; the gesture you choose can show the hero.
The Condoler belt is survival equipment
Amazon's condor-shaped belt has a different role from the GiGi Armlet. Toei identifies the armlet as his transformation item, while the Condoler carries survival equipment. In the show, its rope can restrain an opponent or help him reach a high place, and part of the grip can become a knife. The belt is more than an ornamental buckle in the character's design.
The white scarf has meaning too: Toei describes it as representing his pure sense of justice. Against the reptilian green and red, it is a small reminder of the hero beneath the fierce exterior. Together, the scarf and distinctive buckle help separate Amazon from a generic creature suit. These are details of the television character; they should not be mistaken for a promise that the collectible's belt contains working versions of every survival tool.

Hot Toys Kamen Rider Amazon is expected at US retailers in January–June 2027.
Buying from Hot Toys or Secret Base in Hong Kong usually means getting the figure around 6–8 weeks before US retailers. Overseas shipping accounts for that gap, but the timing varies by shipment.
