Limit one entry per person. All winners agree to pay shipping on any prizes granted by Sideshow Collectibles during any contest or giveaway. International winners (including EU regions) will be responsible for VAT, duties or import fees on the shipment of their prize that may be assessed by their governments. Due to customs requirements, the prize will be assigned a value of at least $1.00.
About the Mark VII Maquette Offered in 2019
The prize was a Sideshow maquette developed with Legacy Effects, rather than an articulated Hot Toys Iron Man figure. The 2019 product announcement identifies a polystone-and-resin scene from The Avengers, with Mark VII flying above an exploding Chitauri glider. The complete piece was listed at 21.25 inches tall.
Lighting was part of the presentation: the eyes, arc reactor and repulsors illuminated, and the base added light to the explosion and flight effects. That makes the base an important part of this particular collectible, not just a platform that can be swapped for a smaller stand.
Several manufacturers have made Mark VII collectibles, so the armor name alone is not enough to identify this prize. Look for the flying pose, Chitauri glider and Legacy Effects collaboration when comparing photographs.
